Lord? I want to be able to design clothes that I want to wear

I want to be able to work with a designer and a seamstress and a tailor (I actually don't know who I would need to work with, but the right professionals)

I want to be able to sit in and work on the design and the details and the fit and then work on materials and be able to source them from sustainable and reputable places, manufacturers, independent creators

I want to have a wardrobe that I absolutely love and if I never wear the items again I want to be able to sell them and have the money go towards doing it all again or towards investing or towards savings or towards community resources or towards education opportunities for people - whatever you would call for it to go towards

I know I can have particular tastes and I know that I have a way that I want to have my clothes fit and some of it has to do with my body proportions and my body composition but some of the other stuff has to do with things out of my control or out of my input or influence and I just think it would be so cool and so fun to work with other people to create something

I know I'm not original in wanting this or in thinking of this, but Lord if this is all I get, if the imagining is all I'll be able to have - I thank you for this time, being able to imagine myself sitting side by side with a designer conceptualizing and bouncing ideas back and forth. I thank you that I can see us laughing and building upon a concept or detail or burst of inspiration. I thank you that I can see in my minds eye standing for a fitting. I thank you that I can see me explaining the concepts and design to a fabric maker. I thank you that I can see myself with my friends or with whomever picking up the fabrics and being so giddy and excited at how they turned out and excited to see them transformed into the final product. I thank you that I can see me and my grandma going in on a day to see the progress and learn about what they're doing. I thank you that I can see us both learning new techniques while we're there. I thank you that while they work on my piece we can actually help out with some of their tasks that aren't so advanced that we are able to contribute while we spend a day at the workshop. I thank you that I get to treat my family to items and experiences like this! Because if I have the resources and the connections for it, I can share that with them. Lord, I thank you for allowing me to dream wide awake of this today <3
